Android Wear: Google Unveils Smartwatch Platform

[ Developer] Google-based smartwatches were rumored for quite a while, and today, the corporate finally revealed it its platform for such wearables: Android Wear. Android Wear is described as a project that extends Android to “wearables,” and they’re just starting with watches. The corporate is already working with Samsung, Asus, HTC, LG, and Motorola in addition to chip makers Broadcom, Imagination, Intel, Mediatek and Qualcomm. It’s also working with fashion brands just like the Fossil Group. There’s lots of “Ok Google” involved.
